Cindy’s passion for helping people excel in all areas of their life has been a central theme throughout her career. She has over 15 years of experience facilitating individual, group, and organization learning and development, both as a consultant and executive coach. Working with clients in a variety of industries and organization sizes, she has assisted in the areas of leader effectiveness, team building, organization culture, work-life balance, change management, career development, performance management, worksite wellness, and more.
The point where organization and individual needs intersect is the focus of Cindy’s work. This means she is not only concerned with current results but also with building a culture that will sustain employee success and sense of fulfillment over time. Her unique approach involves teaching/learning, strategic planning, and motivating. Cindy loves to share her knowledge and help leaders reach those “aha” moments and she thrives on the opportunity to make a difference with every client she touches.
Cindy has a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education & Wellness from Michigan State University. Additionally, she has completed certifications and significant study in leadership development, personal growth, and individual effectiveness from the following: Edge Learning Institute, Management Research Group, Zenger-Miller, Development Dimensions International, CPP Inc., Blessing-White, Otto Kroeger Associates, Pritchett & Associates Inc., and Wright State University.
With a strong commitment to community involvement Cindy serves as the Chair of Kalamazoo County Education for Employment, is on the SLD Center Board of Directors, has held leadership positions on various church committees, and welcomes other opportunities to volunteer. Never far from her mind, Cindy also enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and daughter.
